“Ok, I am not big on asking questions. But I do have to give everyone a class participation grade today so I have to ask one question. And, well if you personally can give me the right answer at first, I will give you all at least a ninety percent on you test that will be in two weeks. Only ten questions. Now I know before I even ask any of you this question, you all were taught this in your ninth grade year.

“What did the Greek Goddess Athena most value?” He says with a wicked smile.

Automatically, Jessica gets up and says. “Her daughters.” Mr.Johnson looks down a little and shakes his head in a ‘no’ position. “No, Jessica, that is not the correct answer.” He says. Before I know anything I am standing up to give the answer. “The thing she valued most was not her daughters. The thing was the Olive Tree.” I say looking directly as Jessica. “Very good Alivia, now what did she hate the most?” He asks. I can feel everyone's eyes on me just wanting me to get it right so someone can tell Jessica Parker that she isn’t the smartest person in the world.

“It isn’t a ‘thing’ that she hated, it is a ‘who’ she hated. She hated her daughters.” I answer looking at him now instead of the devil in disguise. “Now why did she value the Olive Tree more than her own daughters?” He asks me. “Her daughters were what she wanted them to be, they became nasty little sluts, who ended up being mothers instead of warriors. She valued the tree because of it’s giving to her. It gave her peace, wisdom, and triumph.” “Very very good Alivia.” He says. “Thank you, sir,” I say and take my seat.
