The father of Ramana was very much disappointed as his son eloped with someone and his disappointment turned into fury. His fury aimed at Banu’s parents when he came to know the truth. When he was about to retaliate them, to his shock and dismay, they were protected by Santhanam and his bodyguards.
As soon as the wedding feast had begun, Shyamala hurried to meet her father, Santhanam who was at that time busy with offering hospitality to Baskar’s parents, his in-laws.
She called her father and informed him:” dad, I was conveyed by the Theurgist to convey you to give protection to Banu’s parents as Ramana’s father with his men was going to attack them.
On hearing this, Sivasankar urged him to take immediate action.
So at the nick of the moment, Santhanam with his bodyguards surrounded the house where Banu’s parents were residing.
Banu’s father was a Government teacher. He’d only a daughter, Banu to whom he doated but her elopement was a great shock to him and he was mentally upset. At this juncture, he didn’t expect a cruel attack from Ramana’s father who was furious as he thought that Banu’s father was mainly responsible for this elopement and thus spoiled his plan to swindle the property of Santhanam.
