"I could keep working at the hospital for pay," Leila said. "And on my off-time and Sundays, come here to help you fix up the 'port and then fly for you. Pay me when you start counting stacks of greenbacks."
"Two women fliers putting on an air show!" The idea excited Barbara. "That'd really be something different. But do you think people... I mean men... would come to see two women in the cockpits doing aerobatics?"
"They don't have to know who's in them, do they?" Leila asked without missing a stroke of her scrub brush.
Barbara looked over at Leila and agreed. "In pants, leather cap and goggles, who'd know the difference?"
Leila laughed. "We could call ourselves Laurel and Hardy."
