"Later babes" kissing me on the forehead.

His words and actions rippled through my body, leaving open mouths. I glance at him, trying to read him. His face, giving nothing away. The doors closing, the lift stopping again on the nineteenth floor. This just won't do -him working here with me.

I dropped my stuff into its usual place, bottom desk drawer. Powering on my computer, checking out my favorite ad blogs munching on a turkey sandwich when Jennifer appeared beside me with piles of paperwork.

"Good morning Adel." resting the folders on my desk.

"You are so lucky. There aren't much decent guys left in the world." pausing "I mean, he just started working here and you are like fucking him already."

I stifled down a cough. "No, it's nothing like that. We are just friends."

I think back to Friday, when I first laid my eyes on him and the butterfly, giddy feeling I had in the pit of my stomach. All sorts of strange reactions firing off in my mind and body. It wasn't normal and I liked it. Then I remembered Katrina's blonde waist length hair, red pouty lips, fitted in a green trouser suit. I would be unkind to say she was ugly, unattractive, in her forties. Quickly I regain my thoughts, mentally slapping myself for straying.
