They explained when the police was checking her out it alerted the FBI that one of their undercover agents was being investigated and her cover might have been exposed so they sent another agent to either back her up or maybe pull out of the stake out. They couldn't reveal what they were investigating but thanked him for another hand in dealing with what was going to happen in just a few days.
